Caveat

The Corona Galaxy game system was conceived and written by me, Calvin B. Littlefield. Most of the material presented here came from my own ideas and efforts and the game and all related material are my property, all copyrights are applicable and enforceable.

That being said, I am more than happy to let others play in my sandbox...as long as they adhere to my policies. These materials are free to use for any private, non-profit game you wish to run. No part of this material may be used for commercial purpose or ventures without permission of the owner. For these purposes, "table fees" and other such expenses are not considered commercial ventures. Use of game materials for educational purposes is also authorized. The people listed under R&D credits have made contributions of ideas to the game with the understanding that beyond this credit they would receive no further compensation. Playing in my sandbox is the only pay I offer.

One exception to this is artwork. Contributions of original artwork to the game is done with the understanding that the artists will have a space on the Corona Galaxy website to use for their online portfolios. All artwork contributed for game use becomes part of the game, though the artist retains all rights under current laws and agreements. Permission to use the game-related artwork may only be rescinded by mutual agreement.

The other exception is any material that is covered under another copyright and is used here either by permission or under a fair-use provision of copyright law. Such items will be marked with their appropriate copyright elements. If I have screwed these up, please let me know so that I may fix them.

The so-called "official game" is an ongoing setting for playtesting and design. Elements of that game are presented here and will be added in the future. Feel free to use this game setting and materials as-is for your campaigns or as the basis for a radically different setting that more closely fits your own ideas.

Gamers who wish to submit ideas and suggestions to Corona Galaxy are free to do so as long as they understand that I reserve the right to make any edits I feel necessary and appropriate and that seeing their name added to the R&D honor roll for submissions used is the only compensation they can expect. All submissions become a part of the game and as such solely my property. Anyone making a submission is relinquishing all rights to the material under the conditions laid out in this Caveat. Submissions not used in the game may, at my discretion, be used later or not at all. Mine is the final decision in all matters relating to the game and all submissions to it.

Oh, and if you want to use material here for any other purpose, just ask. I'm a nice guy, I am sure we can come to an agreement.
