Tempest

A holding of the Atriarians, one of the 16 moons of the gas giant Parmon, one of the others being Acarides. It is the size of a small planet with a deadly atmosphere of sulfur dioxide and pools of sulfuric acid dotting its surface. Robotic miners gather many elements from this moon for use in industrial applications.

The word Tempest is from Atriariun religion, it is both their version of hell and its master, a cowardly male god that seeks the weak of courage and spirit among warriors (females) and drags them off to eternal torment. Though he comes as a storm of incredible ferocity, his roar like that of a thousand, thousand krulltigers, the least of Atriarian females, if brave and if calling upon the name of their sleeping goddess, is herself as a goddess before this mere male entity. It is only the fearful that he holds sway over. "Facing Tempest" is a phrase in their culture for any test of courage and spirit, "Tempest take you!" is a common curse. It should come as no surprise that in the face of courage, this male entity turns cowardly and will slink away in fear, sometimes bleating like a frightened lamb. It may only be coincidence that Tempest is represented by the color yellow - the color of sulfur - also the color of cowardice in some other cultures.
